All,
As you know, the Kansas Speedway repave and road course project got underway on Sunday, April 22 following the STP 400 Victory Lane activities.
A two week glance at the project: The following is a list of just a few of the items that will be handled in the first two weeks of the track construction project:
· Fence Removal
· Crash Wall Demolition
· Light Tower Removal
· SAFER Wall Removal
· Backstretch Excavation
· Road Coarse Prep
Note: The start/finish line at Kansas Speedway will be removed by the end of today.
Throughout the project, I will send out weekly updates on where the project is but you will also be able to follow the project through this link on our website - http://www.kansasspeedway.com/Vanity-Pages/2012/Repave2.aspx, and through our social media outlets www.facebook.com/kansasspeedway and @kansasspeedway on Twitter. A webcam will soon be live on our website as well.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
